Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your LOWA gear and orders.
How do I determine the correct size for my LOWA boots?
We recommend measuring your foot in millimeters and referring to our specific LOWA size chart. Most of our boots fit true to size, but for heavy trekking models, some users prefer a half-size larger to accommodate thicker socks.
What is the standard shipping timeframe for orders?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Standard ground shipping takes approximately 3-7 business days depending on your location within the continental United States.
Are LOWA boots covered by a warranty?
Yes, LOWA products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for 12 months from the date of purchase. This does not cover normal wear and tear, improper fit, or unauthorized repairs.
Can my LOWA boots be resoled?
Many of our trekking and mountaineering boots feature cemented construction, which allows them to be resoled by a professional cobbler. Task Force and light hiking boots with injected soles cannot be resoled.
How should I clean and maintain my leather boots?
Remove the laces and insoles, then brush off loose dirt. Use a specialized leather cleaner and apply a waterproofing treatment like LOWA Water Stop Pro while the leather is slightly damp to maintain breathability and durability.
What is your return policy for online purchases?
We accept returns of unworn, brand-new merchandise in its original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please ensure you test your boots indoors on a carpeted surface to maintain their returnable condition.
